Excellent Suit with Minor Tailoring Needed

The jacket is a standout piece; the fit is great, and it has a very nice structure in the chest and shoulders. The wool sharkskin fabric feels high-quality. The trousers, however, require some alterations. While they are a flat-front design, which I like, they are too tight in the waist and snug on my thighs. I typically wear a size 30, and these are too small. Also, the pants need to be hemmed to the correct length. Despite the need for tailoring on the trousers, I consider this suit an excellent purchase. The jacket's fit and quality are superb, and the issues with the pants are fixable. The suit's overall appearance, with its tailored fit and high-quality materials, makes it a worthwhile investment.

I miss Ralph Lauren Black Label products.

I thought that this suit would be identical to a RL Black Label Sharkskin suit that I purchased a few years ago. It is not the same soft, darker and tightly woven fabric. In fact..this suit is not nearly as supple as the BL. Needless to say...I was a bit disappointed with the product but because the 42R fit's well, I'm keeping it and I'm sure at some point during my wearing this suit, it too may become an all time favorite. I'm still a loyal RL fan.
