Beautiful presentation and nice lipstick shades
I recently tried the Prada Monochrome Clutch Lipstick Set, and honestly, the first thing that impressed me was the packaging. All over has that clean Prada look. I like that they didn’t put strange shades. These are actually usable shades from everyday neutrals to a nice bold red. The formula is hyper matte, but it’s not heavy on the lips. It goes on smooth and doesn’t instantly dry you out like some other mattes do.If your lips are dry or flaky, you definitely need lip balm before, because the matte finish will show texture. The wear time is pretty good, but NOT 12 hours. The only thing that stood out to me is the scent. At first it smells nice, kind of soft and powdery, but after a little while the smell becomes a bit strong for me. Not terrible, just noticeable if you’re sensitive to fragrance in makeup. About “CLUTCH” the presentation is beautiful but the clutch isn’t something you’ll actually use in daily life or even as a real clutch, so most of the value comes from the lipsticks and the designer name.

Poor packaging for the Refill
I bought 2 different color Refills for this lipstick since I like the Prada lipstick texture and colors. But the packaging by Prada and Bloomingdales was disappointing. The refills come with a little green cap (as pictured), but because the lipstick came loose in the delivery process, both caps had lipstick on it. One lipstick practically fell out when I took off the little cap. Prada should make a much better cap for this refill, and also that the lipstick does not come out in transit. Bloomingdales shipped both in a large envelope by USPS, and it sat in my mailbox on a hot day, so I'm sure the heat may have contributed to the lipstick coming out.
