Doesn't look like a gift at all with closed lid

Not sure what RL was thinking when creating this gift or rather its packaging. It comes with the box lid under the box bottom. I bought it as a gift for someone that needed to be shipped. I could possibly leave it the same was I received it from Bloomingdale's with the lid open and tucked under the box showing the contents under a clear plastic tape, but I thought the gift would look so much nicer with the box closed. When I put the lid on, the box is really nice but it has this huge sticker on it with tiny fonts I could not even see (probably a contents' description). That sticker label was the size of half of the box and could not be removed, so, no, it doesn't make a nice gift. I could probably buy those or some other items separately and pack them much nicer than RL did.
