not really a fan
I requested a sample of this to try, as I'm always looking for a good night cream, and I have found egf serum effective in the past. This has a loose whipped emulsion texture that absorbs easily into the skin, but I do find the smell a bit unpleasant. I had no obvious reaction to this, which is good because my skin can be sensitive to glycolic acid, though it did make my skin feel just a little prickly. I know glycolic acid does make skin more sensitive to uv wavelengths, and think the inclusion of this is not really a positive (I actually believe it is time it was phased out of skincare altogether, as there are plenty of other daily acid types). I didn't notice any skin improvement from this (I got about a week out of the sample), never did get used to the smell, and looking at the price of £150 I'd rather just buy the Bioeffect serum instead, which I have found to be effective (especially when alternated with retinol). For a serum price, it has to give serum-level benefits or be a delight to use, and this does neither for me.

No difference for me
This cream felt nice and light and was easily absorbed. It was a free sample so I only used it a few nights but didn’t notice any difference with my skin in the morning. I do have quite sensitive skin which will easily break out so in the positive side it didn’t cause any breakouts. Perhaps you need to use it for longer than I did to see results but since it’s quite expensive I don’t think I will try the full size product.

The best
The texture is luxurious, rich without being greasy, and it absorbs beautifully. I use it at night and wake up with skin that looks like I've had 10 hours of sleep (even when I haven’t!). What makes it even more impressive is how it calms redness and helps heal dry patches — I’ve even noticed old acne scars fading. Yes, it's an investment — but the formula is so potent and concentrated that a little goes a long way. Plus, it layers well with other products, and doesn't pill under makeup, which is a huge bonus for me.

Another staple
I have been using this cream nightly for the last 8 months. My skin is more evenly toned and my pores look smaller. Also, every week or so I use an exfoliator which helps get rid of the dead cells on my face, leaving it with a nice glow. I purchase the smaller size so I don't feel like I'm spending a fortune!

Great
Great night cream, does what you need it to do. I knocked off one star because there are better night creams with more actives etc that can do more for your skin that are at a lower price point. This is still a very high quality product and I'd recommend it to anyone. Its very luxurious and feels great on the skin.

Love it!
I have used this product for 20 years and I'm not planning to change anytime soon! It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and hydrated, helps to minimise signs of aging skin. Only a small amount is needed; a jar lasts at least 10 months. It's worth every penny.

Excellent cream
I received a generous sample of this and used it for a few nights. I woke up to find my skin was still hydrated and glowing the following morning. In my opinion this moisturiser does deliver however, it does not do anything extra that my current night cream does which is not as expensive. In view of that I will not be purchasing.
