RosenthalFlux Vase

Very nice, but…..

I did consider returning this vase for three reasons. The first was the shape, the picture looks roundish, it is much more elongated, about 10 x 4 in. Perhaps I was sent the wrong one although I don’t remember there being another size, a lot of flowers are needed. The second was the color, very much more purple than red. I chose this vase as I love white roses and thought this would provide a nice showcase. As I contemplated whether to keep it I thought of how well yellow roses would look and many other colors, I have more than 100 roses and other flowers so decided this was not an issue. The third and most disappointing is it is very opaque, a very bright and direct light is needed to appear translucent which I would find more attractive. I give it 5 stars as it is a beautiful and very heavy vase and, perhaps, I may not have purchased it had I seen it in the store, but with Spring arriving here in California, I have already found it to be a lovely vase to display my flowers.
