Narrow instep
I love the style of this boot! Nice leather and construction but the instep is rather narrow making it difficult to wear a sock with them. Other than that I love them!

Painful Pinky Toes
I purchased my usual size, 8. All my other Sam Edelman shoes fit me perfectly, but these combat boots run little small and hurt my pinky toes. I cannot wear them all day long.

Cheaply made
I've been looking for brown comfortable combat boots for a while and was excited to receive these. However, they are bad quality and the front of the boots crease up really badly. The creases are white in color, but the boots are brown, which doesn't make sense. Why are the creases turning white? I don't recommend these boots at all. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because they are comfortable.

Wardrobe staple!
I travel most weekends for sports, and sometimes only take these. They are great with leggings, so cool with denim (cuffed so you can see the boots), unexpected cool with trousers..In fact, I’m picking up a second pair. I’m a true 8 and did find the 7.5 fit me better.

So comfy
These boots were literal perfection. They required no breaking in whatsoever. I wore them out dancing for 6 + hours the first day I really wore them and experienced no rubbing whatsoever. They give you an extra inch or two of height without being really 'heeled' and go with everything. Extra bonus that they are also waterproof. Obsessed.

Stylish, comfortable boot
This is a good looking boot that is also comfortable (I walked around Boston in them for 3 hours on the first day I wore them). I will say that while it is comfortable as far as no blisters/rubbing etc, at the same time the sole is a bit hard (I am in my early 50s) and my toe got a little numb from that. So if you have sciatica issues, this would be a boot to use when you don't need to walk around for long periods of time. I am usually a 10 1/2 in boots and the 10 in this boot fit fine. (My sister is an 8 1/2 and she bought a 9 and that also fit fine with thick socks so I think this boot feels fine a little too big or a little too small). This boot looks good with jeans or dressy pants, so it is very versatile. Overall a great purchase, especially if you get it on sale!
