I bought this a month ago to replace an older and very reliable samsonite model. I have found out it only meets the carry-on size limits for one domestic carrier. I now have to check this luggage in if I want to bring it home.

GREAT suitcase!!
I purchased this checked bag a year ago and it hasn’t disappointed. It’s been to Europe twice and 3 trips in the US. Other than a few scratches on the outside from the airlines, this suitcase has lived up to its review!!! Zipper works very well. Wheels are easy to maneuver. Lock works well. Nice divided interior. Worth every penny and I’m going to purchase the carry on now.

I really like this luggage. It is made well and the color choices are beautiful. I’ve used it 3 times to travel and it’s holding up very well. I like that if you want to pack a little more you can unzip the luggage to expand it.

pull-out telescoping handle is a real problem
The suitcase itself looks fine, but the pull-out telescoping handle is a real problem. It doesn’t open or close smoothly at all—you have to shake it around and fight with it just to get it to lock into place. Every time we use it, it feels like a struggle. For something as basic and important as the handle, this is really disappointing and makes travel more frustrating than it should be.

Slightly too big for most airlines
Nice suitcase, but slightly too big for almost every airline. You may be forced to check it at the gate for a small fortune if they are strict.

Samsonite Freeform 28" Expandable Hardside Spinner
I rarely write reviews, especially negative ones. I am quite disappointed with this purchase. 🙄 It was made based on the Samsonite name & 2 pieces of luggage I already possessed. This 28" Expandable Hardside Spinner is very flimsy and cheaply made. I purchased it based on the quality pieces I already had. However this piece does not fit the Samsonite quality I've come to know. My 20" Carry-on & 24" Spinner are well made & sturdy. They were why I chose the 28" to complete the set. They were, however, purchased from another brand store. I would not purchase this piece of luggage again, nor recommend it to anyone. It has been the biggest waste of my money & quite the disappointment. If I could return, I wouldn't hesitate. 🥹😠 Samsonite, please improve the quality of this piece of luggage.

Spinner Carryon is Larger than most airlines allow
I bought this carry on spinner with plans to do quite a bit of airline traveling and I needed a quality carry-on. The external 23" size and 10" width stated are larger than than the allowable size in the airline guide you provide on your webpage. So far the gate agents have not questioned it, but last year I flew on flights where the agents required customers to squeeze their luggage into the hard templates. I used to have soft cloth luggage where it was possible to do that but your hard sized luggage does not. Samsonite should not be selling luggage that is known to exceed the airlines requirements and marketing it as a "Carry-On".
