ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE:
L'Iris is the first Eau de Parfum created by Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella in more than 800 years. At the base of the olfactory construction lies the iris butter ("concreta d'iris") extracted from the flower's rhizomes. An extremely precious ingredient, it requires six years of maturation before it can be harvested. The iris is also a symbol of Florence and is depicted in the city's historic coat of arms.
ABOUT THE BRAND:
The Florentine brand, considered the oldest pharmacy in the world, was founded in 1221, and today still occupies its historic shop on Via della Scala in Florence. Its beloved fragrances and scented bath and body care continue to be crafted exclusively in Italy and sought after worldwide.
