Headphones for mastering

I've been using headphones for mastering for several years. They suit me for their absolutely neutral sound and comfort. I can wear them on my head for several hours a day without any problems.

High Quality, Reliably Comfortable

These are excellent and balanced. Everything that is listened to is accurately represented, and any enhancement with regard to the bass or treble just adds to the experience, without overpowering any other element. I've bought more than one pair, and I even like the color. Sennheiser should always keep this in their repertoire, or build upon it for the casual consumer. Products like this are perfect for us!

Comfortable and good soundstage

Excellent sound for the price. Super comfy for long listening sessions on both my KT88 Valve integrated and my Audiolab 7000a SS amp.

Comfort and sound are unbeatable for this price

I have tested several over-ear headphones in terms of wearing comfort and sound. The HD 569 (which I already had) and the HD 599 were by far the best in this regard. The headphones reproduce any music whether classical, rock or pop with equal transparency and neutrality. The optics and workmanship of the HD 599 are very valuable and reflect the good quality of the headphone. For on-the-go use it might be better if the 1.2m cable comes with a 3.5mm right-angle plug. Definitely five stars!

Old pair sounds better

I have mm400 that sounds better. The 599 lacks bass & highs are somewhat tinny. EQ doesn't help much. Guess I'll keep the old pair until I find something better.

Exactly what I expected but I think my opinion changed

It might just be that I haven’t been using em that long and they feel tight but they are kinda tight and I have a small head
