  • How To Use It

    - Pour 2-3 shakes (about a quarter size amount) of the essence into the palm of your hand. Press together to wet both hands. Gently press the essence over your face and neck for 1 minute, ensuring even coverage. Continue pressing until it is fully absorbed into your skin.
    - This essence can be used twice daily. It is recommended to apply after any cleansers/toners and before any serums/moisturizers.

Good essence to layer before toner to tighten the

Good essence to layer before toner to tighten the skin. I use it most days at night and in the mornings right after cleanser. It makes my skin feel tighter without drying it out.

There are better

I am big into facial essences and have tried pretty a lot of them by now. Although SK-II is not necessarily bad I am not sure it is worth the hype and price. Maybe I have not tried it long enough (there are people that have been using it for years) but on the other hand some other essences have showed me visible results faster (and honestly felt better too). I might give it a shot next time I go to Japan and get the XL bottle. In the meantime I’d recommend Tatcha essence or my favorite Sulwhasoo.

So far my favorite. But a bit pricy!

I’ve been using SK-II Facial Treatment Essence for a few weeks now. My skin feels smoother, more hydrated, and looks noticeably brighter. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, and I’ve noticed fewer dry patches. While it’s a bit expensive, the improvements in my skin make it feel worth the investment. One thing I don’t like is the smell of this product, too strong for me.

Not as impressive

It’s hard to say because I did not notice a big difference. This is my skincare routine: Dermalogica face wash, Dermalogica toner, SK-II pitera, and Dermalogica moisturizer. Sometimes I’ll add in LaMer face oil if it is extra dry.

You get what you pay for!

I've been using this since my 20s, and now in my 40s, I don’t have a single wrinkle on my face! The difference is undeniable if I skip applying it—it leaves my skin without that signature SK-glow. If you want to age gracefully, this is a must-have! I bring this wherever I go! Tropical Hawaii, or subzero Yellowknife!
