This is ridiculously expensive, but after using it one night, I decided it was worth every penny. I use a CPAP for sleep apnea and didn't realize the problems the mask was causing my hair and scalp - aggravating dryness, causing sores, pulling out my hair and tangling, etc. This amazingly soft turban protects my hair and scalp and feels cooler than satin and softer than cotton.

Overall, I’m quite impressed. Really well made with luxurious, high-grade silk that's incredibly soft and smooth against the skin. It definitely lives up to its promise of protecting hair overnight, and with this in consideration the price does make sense, even though it is very expensive. One of the standout features is how well it stays on throughout the night. Unlike other sleep caps I’ve tried that slip off or shift around, this turban remains securely in place, even if you toss and turn. That alone makes it worth considering if you’re looking for a reliable overnight hair protector. However, there is one downside: the fit is quite snug. While this helps it stay put, it can feel a bit tight, especially around the forehead. I often wake up with noticeable marks on my skin, which can be uncomfortable and take a while to fade. If you’re sensitive to pressure or have a larger head size, this might be something to keep in mind. Despite the tightness, it still eats. If Slip offered a slightly looser or adjustable version, it would be perfect.

The best silk turban
I have a rotation of silk turbans from different brands which I wear to bed every night. This is the best one by far! Even after a few years of use it’s as good as the day I bought it whereas I’ve started to notice the others have started to go a bit lax and not stay on my head. My only complaint is that it can sometimes leave a mark on my forehead all morning where the knot is placed but have since realised if I wear it backwards that this can be minimised.

I bought this in the sale, to replace a satin one. It makes such a difference!! My hair feels softer, stays straighter - so I spend less time with my hair straighteners. And feels cleaner for longer. The cap itself is comfortable but you have a fiddle around to get it in the right place or you’ll end with marks on your forehead.

Silky
Bought this during the Black Friday sales. Have used it a few times since then. Can be a bit tight and leave marks when you wake up but I think it depends where on your head it is. If it’s over the narrower parts then usually it’s perfect, not tight and no marks! Very lovely and silky. Did make a difference and noticed less frizz when I woke up. Bought the pretty pink one.
