Warm coffee
Beautiful machine, east to use BUT comes out warm
Sent used machine and wants it back
Sent me a used machine I opened the machine put it away and went to use it and notice it was used. I said I needed a refund and for the inconvience I would not find another box and send this back. They are refusing to refund until I send it back. Why should I be inconvienced for something gross and their mistake. Why do they want a used machine back?
Pretty coffee maker
I’ve had my eye on this coffee maker for a while—it’s a perfect match for my light blue SMEG toaster and hand mixer, and it really is beautiful in person. It adds a stylish touch to any countertop. That said, I’m not sure the price is justified. The heating plate only keeps the coffee warm for about an hour, and even then, it’s not very hot. Functionally, it works well and is easy to use as long as you read the instructions carefully. If you're considering it, I’d recommend waiting for a sale—though I’m not sure these ever go on discount.
Beauty is a 10 but so is the mess it makes
The SMEG 10 Cup Drip Coffee Maker is undeniably beautiful—it's a true statement piece in any kitchen. However, I found that it’s a bit more challenging to use than I expected. After only seven uses, I had to descale the machine twice, despite using reverse osmosis water, so durability might be a concern. One of the biggest frustrations is the pouring process. Filling the water reservoir from the carafe is awkward, as water tends to spill all over the counter and floor, which is especially inconvenient in the mornings. Similarly, pouring coffee from the carafe often results in messes. It just feels like a lot of extra effort before 6:30 AM. While it looks stunning, my old Cuisinart from 2014 still makes excellent coffee quickly and without the mess. I don’t think these issues are user error—others I know have experienced the same problems. Overall, it’s a beautiful machine, but I expected more convenience and reliability based on the price and appearance.

My New, Stunning SMEG coffeemaker is wonderful!! It makes smooth, delicious coffee, the carafe is small and easy to handle, and it adds a stylish flare to my new kitchen!! The directions were not difficult to follow. And it’s a joyful part of my morning routine!!
