I have wanted these boots for so long, and I finally bought them. And now my heart is broken, because they are so comfortable and stylish, except for the fact that right where the laces begin on the foot, they are too tight. I have low arches and have never had a problem with this in my life, but it's true. I read other reviews about this and I thought, well that won't happen to me. It did. I have average, medium width feet. Every other part of the shoe is super comfortable, so I would advise anybody to order these and at least try them on. They make you feel very stable, and they are waterproof like most of Sorel's shoes and boots. Honestly, if they fit you, you can't go wrong.

Maybe the previous reviewers are not used to wearing heels. I love these and the traction in the snow.

Wanted to love, but…
Wanted to love, but they are so tight in the middle and arch, very uncomfortable. Will continue the search. I’ve noticed Sorel boots in general are not as comfortable as they used to be, materials are also very heavy.
Narrow/Uncomfortable shoe
My husband brought me a pair similar to this last year, and they are quite narrow. The shoe is in my regular size, but I should have sized up a half size. I've only worn them twice, and I'm not able to where them. The sole is comfortable it's the width size of them that makes them uncomfortable. You can't wear socks with them. I wish I could get a bigger size, because I love them. But unfortunately I will have to give to someone who's foot is smaller. I hate that I've wasted money on these particular shoe.

So close but still not a win
These are such beautiful boots but unfortunately way too narrow for a standard foot. Duper disappointed as isms Sorel wester. I also purchased the other platform waterproof boots with just the side zipper and slip on. These fit a bit better, but Sorel should seriously consider teaming up another brand like on cloud/On to make a deeper cushioning on the insole and also consider the narrowness on a platform to not be so narrow as it lessens stability on an otherwise beautiful platform boot.

Do not recommend
Very narrow and uncomfortable. A size up was too big in length but these just hurt.

Painfully soles
The sole hurts my feet even on short wears. Look nice though.
