Form and function - a pair of really cool shoes.

Purchased these Sorel loafers about a month ago in the ivory with the black soles. It would not be an exaggeration to say if I could have only one pair of shoes for the rest of my life it would be these. Comfortable right out of the box, and manufactured to Sorel's high standards for form and function. Weatherproof, can walk the city streets, or country lanes, for hours in any kind of weather, but not without being stopped by someone asking me where I got these cool, cool shoes.

Cute, but returned

While these are super cute and exactly as pictured, I did return them for a few reasons. They were incredibly stiff, almost completely inflexible. Just trying them on I could tell they would give blisters. They were well made, but to the point I’m not sure if they would ever break in. They were also very heavy which you would expect for a platform , but personally I think would be too tiring for all day wear. Overall a nice enough shoe for a statement, but not the investment.

Cannot get them on

These are final sale so can’t send them back. They are made weird . Very hard to pull on . They are beautiful and seem to be sturdy just can’t get on
