Disappointed
The ornament arrived unbroken and in great condition as is expected when it comes to Spode quality. The reason I'm sending it back, and I thought about this for some time, is that the box it came in was damaged. I don't know but I expected the item to be in an undamaged box, such as any collectible or high-end item, in the spirit of Hallmark, Waterford, & other like Christmas ornaments. Indeed, I've purchased Spode ornaments in their boxes in pristine condition from stores such as TJ Maxx and other discount stores. It never occurred to me that I'd receive a damaged box w/a Spode ornament to come in such a poor presentation from Bloomingdales!!! I make very little money and I am careful where I spend it. Bloomingdales has never disappointed me like this. I suggest your staff who packages these orders makes certain the items go out to customers in a manner which Bloomingdales is expected!
