Beautiful but narrow in the heel

Beautiful, but uncomfortable. I have several other Stuart Weitzman shoes, but these just felt very narrow in the back. My heel felt like it didn't have adequate support. I sadly returned. I really wanted to keep them badly because they look great, and the leather is nice and soft, but the lack of heel support made my feet ache. I got the leather cream color, which is almost white, with gold buckle. As for the size, I usually wear 9.5 in sandals, and these were true to size. I have another model that I got in size 9 that worked for me well, and I have other pairs that I had to go with 9.5 because 9 felt too small. Considering that these were too narrow in 9.5 I'm guessing there was no point in even trying size down, and lengthwise and width in the front wise, these felt true to size.
