Did not work

I really wanted to like this dress. I am normally a size 8 and ordered an 8 and could not even attempt to button it. No give in the fabric. I'm wondering if my dress was mis sized as other reviewers seem to have no issue with the sizing. I have always worn an 8 in T Tahari; sadly this had to be returned.
