Arrived damaged

I was so excited to get these incredibly fancy earrings as a special gift...yet they arrived damaged (same day delivery from the local warehouse, so you can't even blame transit). Someone just literally didn't even look at the earrings before shipping. I will just be returning these, not replacing them. The hinge mechanism feels really flimsy for such heavy earrings, and they're too expensive to lose getting caught on a sweater or scarf.
