Disappointed by construction

The hems were a little bit frayed. Was this intentional styling or poor quality? Also, there wasn't a zipper but rather buttons. Neither the photo nor the description indicated this. The buttons were so close together, that I couldn't get my fingers between them to fasten. Size 29 was fine.

Stiff

These white jeans have a nice cut. But the fabric is so stiff and heavy that they became very uncomfortable I couldn’t wait to take them off
