I'm shocked that this coat is so thin

When I see the word parka, I think "thick and warm". With this winter in nyc, I would have to put a lot of layers on my daughter to be warm. This coat is more like a shell. It should have come with a removable fleece. I'm returning it.

I would purchase again.

This parka is a hit with my 6 yr old grandson. The 6/7 size fits perfectly with room for layering in colder weather. Lightweight for comfort and ease of wearing. Very happy with the quality.
