Understated elegance

I purchased this dress for a celebration of life event. I found the dress in store. I don't think I would have looked twice at the picture online. Being 5'4", I hemmed the dress -to mid calf, and the waistline falls lower on me than model. Even if I did not hem and left it ankle length, the dress has a tailored elegance.
