This Marlin Jet is a very stylish and elegant time piece with a retro futuristic aesthetic. The muted dial gives the watch a vintage look while the case and Acrylic domed crystal achieves a sleek modern appeal. The size of the watch is just right at 38mm. Fits and looks good on even a larger wrist. Only issue is the strap. It a fabric strap That is comfortable but detracts from its appeal by looking to sporty. A nice leather strap would be a better option.

The watch has a great
The watch has a great sleek professional style and as a Boomer, I love the 1960's vibe. I have another automatic watch from another very good brand, but it runs fast even after I sent it back to the manufacturer for thorough maintenance. I love Timex watches, and have always worn one for 50+ years, and I'm to the point now where I won't wear anything else. Even if I could afford a very high end luxury automatic watch, I would not buy one and I would wear a Timex instead. I grew up with the Timex commercials ". . . it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. . . ". I'm old school, and to me Timex screams classic Americana, hence I won't go with anything else. I don't think you could go wrong with this watch. Heck, I might even like to go to work at Timex.

Beautiful watch! The strap is
Beautiful watch! The strap is a major disappointment though, it’s thin, cheap, and does not look or feel as quality as the watch. Timex has plenty of other bands that are great and on cheaper models, I expected more from them with this watch. That said, the watch itself is beautiful; the reflection of light on the dial and the cool dome crystal look much better in person!

I am very happy with
I am very happy with my Marlin Jet watch. Very stylish design. The domed crystal looks even better in person. I have paired it with several leather passthrough straps. If you like classic styling that you can dress up or down, this is your watch.
