Beautiful, but not meant for everyday wear

This is a beautiful watch. I would give it 5 stars if my jeweler had not told me that automatic watches stand a risk of becoming demagnetized due to all of the technological devices used today that contain magnets, I.e., cell phones, internet devices and computers, The movement of automatic watches rely on magnets. This watch is a special occasion watch only when you won’t be using technology to prevent the risk of demagnetization which is an expensive repair to fix. Although the newer models of automatic watches are built better than they were 40 years ago, with the use of tech devices in mind, the risk is still there. It is a bit of a pricy watch to not wear it very often. My jeweler recommended sparing the expense by not purchasing such a watch. I like the look of the watch, due to all the color variations, and wanted an automatic watch to replace one I lost years ago, because I think the movement of an automatic watch is pretty cool. So I bought it and have not worn it yet.
