Not like it used to be

Decent enough suitcase with some premium materials/features but not enough to warrant the price charged. If I compare to my last Travelpro, it is a night and day difference in durability and features. My last Travelpro lasted 20 years and was finally retired due to a lack of replacement parts. I dont get that kind of confidence from this suitcase based on the poor materials and bad build quality.

Love the carry-on

The carry-on in real life looks even nicer than the pictures. The design of the pockets makes sense and are all useful. I love the fabric of the pockets, it's durable and beautiful.

Not viable in practice

This carry-on is good in photos but falls very flat in person. I’m 6’2” and wanted a carry on to fold a single jacket into similar to Tumi’s Alpha line, but have had other TravelPro and really lied their materials and construction. Unfortunately this piece falls apart at the design stage. You lose 3/4” in usable space because the handle shafts are spaced off of the hard side shell, and on the opposing side you only have about 4” of usable depth because the hard shell is INSIDE the zippered laptop pocket and there are useless 1. 5” channels on the left and right of the laptop pocket that will never fit anything. The moment I put a single pair of size 11 dress shoes in this bag practically one side was consumed. The construction is very good, but the design wastes so much space that I had to return the bag without ever using it because when packing I lost so much space compared to a simple shell roll aboard. I could rival TUMI, but alas it does not practically come close.

Not as big as I thought

From the description I thought this bag was bigger but the front computer pocket takes up a lot of room. It’s suggested at a 4-7 day bag but I’d estimate 4 days max if you bring a second set of shoes which I always do.

Not Useful

Front flap did not zip back up properly, zippers would not make the corners. Very difficult to get the laptop back out. Shell felt cheap and poorly made. There was no way to put a battery in the battery pouch. It was completely sealed off. Could not even connect a battery to the cable sealed in the battery pouch. Pockets were lacking and an apparent after thought. Overall a bad combination of design and intention of use.

Key feature broke on first trip :(

So I’m on my first trip and the battery plug already stopped working. Not a strong start. Guess I’ll get to see how quickly they can respond to a warranty claim. Bag otherwise has been nice. Definitely better than my previous bag, just really disappointed about the one feature breaking that I purchased the bag for.
