Scratches SO easily. I have only used it twice and it looks like it is 10 years old. I have had many other Tumi suitcases that are super durable, but this one is completely inconsistent with the qualilty of the others.

Smooth ride
Fantastic wheel system - it does roll… it flies… but I missed the folding system for the suit… Too bad it disappeared compared to the previous version. Was quite useful.

Wish I could return it.
I want to love this suitcase but for starters, I could pack fairly light and it will always be overweight becasue the back starts off at over 13 pounds. Secondly, I have only used it 2-3 times and the Brown stitching where the sides come together is already coming undone. For the price tag on this thing, I would expect the quality to be better. It honestly just does not feel as durable as it should. Wish I could return it.

I made this purchase after finally deciding I needed to update my black ballistic nylon Tumi luggage from 24 years ago. Functionally it still served its purpose but it was tired looking and I wanted to try some hard-shell luggage. I went with two carbon-fiber-look Tegris pieces in a graphite color and they did not disappoint. I've only used the carryon but am very happy with it. It fits nicely in normal overhead storage compartments -- but not the little commuter jets. It wheels nicely and true -- no old shopping cart casters on these pieces that wobble back and forth. The interior is very nice with a few additional zipped storage pockets and the outside shell material appears to be scratch-proof so it should look good for a while. I'm very happy with my choice and would do it again.

Worth it!
I used this for the first time over the holidays. It’s so easy to maneuver through the airports and in transport. It does have some weight to it but given the secure lock and was of use, it’s worth it. I am glad I got the set!

Great built, nice design- Side pocket only favors Macbook sizes
Beautiful and manly suitcase. I have been looking for a solution to help me transition from always carrying items in my backpack to something I can easily roll around and place in the overhead bin during my short flights. This suitcase fits the bill. Please see my following pros and cons. Pros: - Built-in passthrough USB charger for devices - Quality carbon fiber material - Dual TSA locks provide security for side pocket and general compartment - Wheels roll very well and ample space for your weekend or short trip items - Side pocket wide enough for IPAD devices. Cons: - The side pocket is only 8.5 - 9" wide. Not wide enough to hold my Lenovo laptop which is 14 x 10". - Space favors only Macbook laptops Overall it's a durable suitcase except for some design features which I overlooked. Since my windows laptop doesn't fit on the side pocket, I have to place it inside along with all my other items. I can still place my IPAD in there no problem. Keep this in consideration as you may need to choose the Continental version of this suitcase for your laptop to fit.
