Villeroy & Boch Bowls

These Villeroy & Boch bowls are the perfect size to enhance my entire set of the pattern called Modern Grace. I have the oval bowls (which I love) but they are a bit too small. Although this is considered a rice bowl, it works amazingly well for soups and salads.This is the ideal size, color and thinness to enhance and complete my dishes.

Perfect size bowl

I like this bowl for a nice soup, rice, cereal, or a side of vegetables with your plate. They make a wide soup bowl as well but I like this one better. The bone china is almost as well made as my grandmothers set from the 30s.

Do Not Shop at Bloomingdales

I tried to purchase these bowls along with several towels during the friends and family sale. The website experienced a technical difficulty and I was unable to purchase items for the house. I spoke with several agents and recorded the conversation online where they stated that there were technical issues. The next day I called Bloomingdales and assumed they would honour the sale price but they would not. If you care about customer service then do not shop here.

Best value anywhere- highly recommend

Bought this from Macy's in 2016- Anmut Villeroy Boch is beautiful, feels good to hand, distinctive while still traditional, and holds up after repeated dishwasher use. After four years I take delight in it every day when setting the table.
