runs too big

I was very disappointed when I received this dress. It is atleast 2 sizes too big! I am 5’2”, 125 pounds, generally size 6 in pants and Medium in tops. I ordered a Small and I was swimming in it, the drawstring could not be pulled in to accommodate either. Sadly returning.
