stiff fabric

I ordered these after reading the reviews that the fabric is heavy and I like heavier fabrics for winter , such as wool and corduroy. I had hoped these would be brushed, sort of like moleskin. Well, I did not find them heavy, just very stiff, which made the barrel leg look ridiculous on me, although I am pretty slim. If the fabric had some drape to it, the style would have worked.
