I wanted an all wool winter coat to wear in Chicago winters. I sized up because I wanted it to layer and also last forever (easier to take something in than to let out a smaller size!). though this ran a little bigger than expected. I’m a size 4/6 and went up to an 8. I probably could do a 6 and it still be oversized, but the 8 is perfect for my needs. I like it open and tied closed, just not be that there aren’t any buttons to close it. I haven’t tested it in the weather yet, but it’s heavier than some of my other coats, so I am sure it’ll be great!

Looks like an expensive robe
I think it’s because I’m short (5’1) but the coat looks like a bath robe on me. I really wanted to love it because I love the wrap style, but I couldn’t unsee it. Looks great when it’s not tied and is super warm and comfortable, but for the price I need a coat that looks good untied and tied up.
