Great little tee dress but runs very small

I really like Z and V clothing and have many of their sweaters and a few blazers. However, they do run small and this was a perfect example of how tiny their cut for a Large is..it worked well on the top but from the waist down, somehow, it was really tight! It is a heavier than usual fabric - like a terry sweat lined, but the fit was really off. I have bought size L in their sweaters and they fit fine but always thought that they cut and size their designs for a smaller framed person. Their jackets need to be cut more generously as I have had this problem with some of those, and now, sadly, this dress. It is really cute and yet not a one season dress. I love the simplicity of it and it is well made - quality - but the sizing is much too small for the average US female. I do not have wide hips or a big rear at all and yet it hugged the derriere so much that it made me look foolish. If you are really petite in frame this dress will work. I will have to return it, sadly...
